Lets Eat Cafe
About This Spot
Stepping into Lets Eat Cafe on Tarporley Road, you’re greeted by a spacious, unpretentious setting that feels like a well-loved local hub. It hums with a gentle, familiar energy—part family kitchen, part community gathering spot—where the pace eases into easy conversation and the simple pleasure of a good meal. The natural light fills the room, casting a warm glow across checkered tables and the friendly faces of staff who clearly delight in the rhythms of their day.
Here, breakfast isn’t just the first meal; it’s a small ritual of comfort and satisfaction. The offerings invite you to dive into wholesome, hearty plates that echo classic British favorites, prepared without fuss but with evident care. Whether you’re starting the day with a full English or opting for something lighter, every dish arrives as if meant to fuel both body and spirit—without ever hurrying you along.
The atmosphere carries a casual charm, reminiscent of a spirited ‘90s corner café where familiar jokes and warm smiles are as much part of the experience as the food itself. This is a place where locals and travelers alike find space to breathe and refuel—whether you’ve just crossed miles on a motorbike or are seeking a laid-back spot for a midday break. The staff’s easy humor and genuine hospitality fold naturally into the welcoming vibe, making every visit feel less like a transaction and more like a shared moment.
Despite its unassuming nature, Lets Eat Cafe holds a quiet pride in its generous portions and good value, striking a balance between classic comfort and everyday reliability. With ample parking and a location just off the motorway, it's that rare spot where convenience meets a touch of timeless local spirit. Whether you’re chasing a no-fuss coffee, a filling breakfast, or something to settle the day’s hunger, this is a place to slow down and simply enjoy the essentials done well.

Fantastic breakfast. Can't fault it & the price. The dinner not so good. Ordered the roast beef & a steak knife wouldn't have cut it. All the taste cooked out of it. But i ate it as I was starving. I left the place with a full stomach. So the poritions are good. Friendly staff & a large open space.

Love this place. The team are always super helpful and happy to see you. Food is a good size and a very good price. Really good variety from full traditional breakfast to salads as well.

Stopped here randomly as I had just covered over 200 miles on my motorbike and I was close to shitting myself. Great humour from the girls working here, they called me boring for not wanting custard, ice cream or cream on my chocolate cake. If I'm ever near here I will stop again, it's got a lovely 90's community feel to it.

Properly good food, excellent service and good location just off the motorway with plenty of parking. The Challenger Breakfast pictured was £13 and went down easily with a coffee included. It wasn't greasy and swimming in oil and came with three slices of toast. Highly recommended, busy spot so expect a slight wait for your order to be taken however once ordered, your food comes out quickly!

Parked here for the night in my HGV. Had a nice hot shower and a stunning dinner. Food was amazing and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. 100% recommend.

3 miles away from M56 Junction 10. i think the reviews from GM over this Local are a little bit over exaggerated , so i leave this one to balance a little bit the Golden Aura . All day breakfast, with a coffee and an apple cake £15.70 . this is Motorway services prices. The breakfast is nothing special , and the place it looks like was built in the '80 , feel like a Canteen for me . so , Voilla mystery solved here . HGV overnight parking ; no fuel Pumps ; there's a Services 500 feet down the road . Adieu.

What a great find! We arrived 8.45am Saturday morning... To a fairly typical older style open airy (plenty of seating) roadside cafe. Receiving a pleasant welcome we ordered coffee and a teacakes each.... In the time it took me to walk next door to Londis/petrol station and back for paracetamol the coffees and teacakes arrived.... Teacakes we're fresh and tasty with real butter... The coffee was dark roast good tasting and perfect strength. Value was excellent, other establishments easily £3-5 more. Casting an eye over the menu... Bearing in mind everything is freshly cooked, it was very good value. Other reviews criticing value surely cannot be comparing like for like. When I popped next door for the paracetamols the londis fuel stop included a Starbucks and Greggs, why on earth would anyone consider pre packed, long shelf life produce? Support the independents....
